Batsto Church

The Batsto-Pleasant Mills United Methodist Church adjacent to Batsto Village was erected in 1808, on the site of a much older church. Community members, Richards family members, Batsto workers and their families came here to worship, for weddings, and for funerals.

Today the church has a very active congregation, and the church cemetery is the final resting place for generations of community members.
